The largest metalworking and engineering fair in the Baltic States Tech Industry 2018 is just around the corner!

From 29 November to 1 December, the International Industry, Metalworking, Automation, Electronics and Innovated Technology trade fair "Tech Industry 2018" bringing together manufacturers from all over the world to present and demonstrate the latest equipment, tools and technology, will be held at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre.

"Tech Industry 2018" will take up two halls and will feature more than 270 companies from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, France, Austria, Slovenia, Belarus, Ukraine, Hungary, China, Taiwan and other countries. Moreover, in the national collective stands of Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Italy and Belarus visitors will be given access to the offering of exporting producers in these countries.

Grand demo of equipment and technology
European and world’s major equipment manufacturers will showcase in Kipsala the most advanced metalworking and industrial equipment, mechanical engineering and welding equipment, power tools, air flow and hydro technology, metal products, automation and control systems, hydraulic equipment, measuring equipment, electronic and electrical engineering products, gas supply equipment, warehouse equipment, personal protective equipment, packaging and materials, loading and unloading equipment, etc.

Stand of Latvian manufacturers
The Association of Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking Industries (MASOC) organises this year a joint cluster stand in which Latvian engineering and metalworking companies will be represented. The companies will present a wide range of products and services – equipment for various branches of the economy, solutions for the energy sector, and all kinds of metalworking services. Moreover, MASOC will also provide an opportunity to pre-schedule meetings with other association members – more than 150 companies.

Mobile Demo Lab "TehnoBuss"
The mobile demonstration laboratory "TehnoBuss" featuring advanced production technologies and designed to inform youth about the study and career opportunities in the sector will be parked in front of the exhibition centre. "TehnoBuss" visits general education institutions in all regions of Latvia and provides information on metalworking technologies in an attractive way.

Events for professionals
The exhibition offers workshops and discussions on topical issues in the field of mechanical engineering, metalworking, electronics and new technologies that bring together a great number of business people, professional organizations and public authorities. The seminar "The opportunities for export and cooperation in the Southern African markets" held by MASOC and LCCI in cooperation with the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences in Finland and Tallinn University of Technology will take place on 29 November at 10.00 in the conference room 2. Stakeholders are also welcome to attend the seminar "Cooperation between the Belarusian and Latvian mechanical engineering and metalworking companies" to be held the same day at 14.00.

International Conference “Digitising the industry in the Baltic Region”
November 30 from 10.00 to 14.00 in conference room No. 3 will host The International Conference “Digitising the industry in the Baltic Region” covering variety of digital solutions and innovation experience in the Baltic region will be held on 30 November 10.00–14.00, conference room 3. The conference will also include presentations by the representatives from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Germany and Belarus. The conference is organized by MASOC in cooperation with the Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association (LIKTA), the Ministry of Economics and the Riga City Council.
